Math Lab-
Our math block of time consists of a whole group lesson, independent work, small group lessons, and math centers. We call this "Math Lab". View the pictures below to see what some of our math centers look like. You may see students making patterns with unifix cubes and pattern blocks, practicing basic facts with flash cards, building number sense by showing greater than, less than, and equal to with dominoes, and using our promethean board to solve problems. The students have an option to work in cooperative groups, with a partner, and/or by themselves.
