Welcome to the first grade! My name is Ms. Love and the most important thing you need to know is that I LOVE to teach! Teaching is my greatest passion and I put my all into each child I teach so that they have the very best education. I understand that each child learns in a different way. I will continue to work with each child until they reach their goal.
This is my fourth year teaching and my fourth year at Somerset Elementary school. I have taught first grade each year and loved every minute of it! First grade is exciting because there is growth in all academic and social areas.
I graduated from Towson University with a bachelors degree in Elementary Education. I am currently attending Johns Hopkins University for a master's degree as a reading specialist. I grew up in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania so I go back to visit my family very often. I love playing with my dog Howie when I'm not in school!
