- Students will be able to explain how changes in resources, services, and goods have changed the way people live, work, and play. (Economics)
- Students will be able to identify goods and services, describe how goods and services are acquired, and choices people make about goods and services, including how getting something one wants may mean giving up something in return.
- Students will be able to describe types of markets in the community and explain how they operate.
- Students will be able to describe the production process by giving examples of natural and human resources used in the production of a good and explain how changes in goods have changed the way people live.

We were fortunate enough to have Ms. Hill (Gordie's mother) come in to the classroom to teach us more about Oceans. The class learned through watching visual models how much water there is on earth and how we can help reduce the amount of water we use everyday. We enjoyed having the in- class presentation!
